- The Process
- The bustco process entails a range of steps. First, bustco meets with the client to complete a 3D scan. Your image (or the scan) is then refined through a 3D modeling program and printed. The 3D print is then used to create a mold that will initiate the Lost Wax Casting process. During the process a mold is created that can withstand the pouring of molten metal. Once the metal is poured a perfect cast is produced.
- The process allows for a detail level never before acheived by artisans of the past. Clients receive a sculpture that in not an artist's impression of their likeness, rather they receive an exact image of themselves immortalized in bronze forever.
